in 1999, the Pipes and Drums of the Chicago Police Department is
a not-for-profit Police Bagpipe and Drum band. Our
motivation...Our mission...is to always be in service to our
fellow police officers, firefighters and their families. We are
organized as an not
for profit 501C corporation run by the elected Board Members.

On June 27, 2009 band members joined with
or friends
Daniel and Marla Rodriguez
for a concert they held in LaGrange, IL. The Rodriguez
clan has been a friend to the band since we first met in Monaco
for the IPA events. Photos from the concert are

On
April 18, 2009 band members participated alongside members of
the Chicago Fire Department Pipes and Drums for the
Special Olympics. This event was
held atWhite Sox Park in Mt. Greenwood. Some photos from

On 30 May 2009 members of the Band
marched the
Chicago Police Department Enforcers
Footballteam on to the field t St. Xavier's
College donning Enforcer football jerseys and kilts. We
are proud to support the Enforcers .
