in 1999, the Pipes and Drums of the Chicago Police Department is
a not-for-profit Police Bagpipe and Drum band. Our
motivation...Our mission...is to always be in service to our
fellow police officers, firefighters and their families. We are
organized as an not
for profit 501C corporation run by the elected Board Members.

On
14 November 2009 the band partnered up with Chicago's bravest
to play the pipes and drums at a benefit supporting
Misieracordia. The event was held @ Bourbon Street and
band members were honored to be a part of the benefit.

10 November 2009 members of the band (and some friends) came
out to honor the men and women of the United States Marine
Corps in celebration of their 234th birthday at a SEMPER FI

09 October 2009 several members of the Pipes and Drums of
the Chicago Police Department were joined by a comrade from the
CFD Pipe Band at the CPD versus CFD Soccer Game. A
