Founded in 1999, the Pipes and Drums of the Chicago Police Department is a not-for-profit Police Bagpipe and Drum band. Our motivation...Our mission...is to always be in service to our fellow police officers, firefighters and their families. 	On Thursday, 04 August 2011 the band held it's 1st Annual Golf Outing and Pig Roast Fundraiser at the Tamarack Golf Club in Naperville. The event was a resounding success and we would like to extend our sincere thanks to all those who supported the band >> Photos <<

On Monday, 18 July 2011 band members - participated in an honors ceremony recognizing Chicago Police officer Michael Bailey, who was murdered on 18 July 2010. Photos from the event recognizing and honoring Officer Bailey can be seen here >> Photos <<


	On Wednesday, 20 July 2011 band members played side by side with members of the Fire Fighters Highland Guard of Naperville and Chicago Fire Department Pipe Band for a flight of honor which included John Ryan's Uncle Tom Ryan >> Photos <<
