• The Band Champions Supreme were announced by the Music Board at the Annual General Meeting and are as follows:

  • Grade 2: City of Chicago Pipe Band

  • Grade 3: Minnesota Police Pipe Band

  • Grade 4: Detroit Caledonian Pipe Band

  • Grade 5: Tunes of Glory Pipes & Drums
     

  Band re-grades were also announced as follows:

  • City of Chicago - Grade 2 to Grade 1

  • Chicago Celtic - Grade 4 to Grade 3

  • Detroit Caledonian - Grade 4 to Grade 3

  • City of Chicago - Grade 5 to Grade 4

*** NOTES *** When a Games results for solo a contest notes (for example) 4 soloists competed but only three placings are shown, it's due to the Champion Supreme scoring, not an error.  For example if 4 started to compete, 1 broke down, the remaining 3 would receive 1st through 3rd and the fourth receives no mention.  Regarding Championship Points; the 1st place soloist would get 4 points and not three. 2nd place gets 3 points, 3rd place gets 2 pts and the Break Down gets nothing.
