  • The band would like to extend condolences to the family, friends and co-workers of 019th District Chicago Police Officer Richard M. Francis who was killed in the line of duty on 02 July 2008.

Someone killed a police officer today and a part of America died.
A piece of our city he swore to protect will be buried with him at his side.
The suspect who shot him will stand up in court, with counsel demanding her rights.
While the widow must now toil alone spending many long lonely nights.
His beat was a battlefield as if he had gone to war.
To his comrades his memory will forever last.
While we slept in comfort behind our locked doors, a cop put his life on the line.
Now his ghost walks a beat on a dark city street and he stands at each recruits side.
He answered the call, and gave us his all and a part of America died.
